About the Role
Are you an experienced accounting professional with a background in manufacturing? An established and growing manufacturing company in Tampa, FL is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join its dynamic finance team. This is a newly created role due to continued company growth—an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor accounts and conduct monthly/quarterly financial reviews
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements and expense reports
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy
Handle project costing and manufacturing accounting
Oversee inventory, bill of materials, and cost accounting
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
2+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and advanced functions)
Experience with ERP or MRP systems is essential
